About John Hammond
This man is, for the lack of better comparison, Walt Disney of the theme park of Jurassic World. His name is John Parker Hammond, a wealthy old man from Scotland and a founder of Jurassic Park who also owns multiple theme parks around the world.
Interestingly, the character of John Hammond in the movies is portrayed to be a kind man who cares for other people including workers and visitors at the park, whereas his version in a novel is portrayed to be a stereotypical heartless businessman who can’t see nothing but his own benefit.
When the park fails, Hammond’s heart shattered, for he truly loves and cares for the park and all of his dinosaurs. Despite the sadness, he later accepts that it is his fault the park has failed to operate and caused people their lives. The tragic event haunts him until his last day
