About Evil Jester
Evil Jester also known as evil clown, is a darker, scarier version of the traditional clown figure. It is a popular costume worn during the “Mardi Gras”, a festivity part of the annual Carnival which literally means Fat Tuesday, signifying the last day where people can indulge on food and merriment before fasting for Lent.
To celebrate, people dress up according to their preference and the Evil Jester is a popular costume to pull off. The Evil Jester is often considered to have been popularized by Stephen King’s work, It, where an evil clown wreaks havoc to a town.
