The Pope’s costume features a Catholic bishop regalio but with a Papal hat. Be sure to wear a priestly robe and carry a staff, too.
About the Pope
The Pope is the Bishop of Rome (or historically Patriarch of Rome), head of the universal Catholic Church, and has served as head of state or sovereign of the Papal States since the eighth century and later of the Vatican City State. From a Catholic perspective, the primacy of the Bishop of Rome stems largely from his role as the apostolic successor of Saint Peter (the first Pope).
