About Cheech and Chong

Cheech and Chong are members of award-winning duo “Cheech and Chong”. They became popular with their comedic (stand-up) routines, music, and films. Their content material often feature hipster, counterculture, and free love themes.

They met in Vancouver in the '60s. Tommy Chong is a Canadian citizen while Cheech Marin moved there to avoid being drafted for the war. Their earlier hits include their first full-length film Up in Smoke (1978) which became a commercial success.

Following the release of their 1985 album Get Out of My Room, Cheech went on to have a solo career. They would later reunite on short-term projects in the future.
