---|---|---|
1 | Light Blue Onesie | To achieve Gary’s light blue skin tone, wear a plain adult-sized onesie with a hoodie and zip it up fully. |
2 | Pipe Cleaners | Inserting pipe cleaners inside your DIY Gary eye antennas will ensure that they won’t look floppy. |
3 | Light Blue Cloth | Buy a light blue cloth that’s similar with your onesie and sew on 2 long oblong strips at the tip of your hoodie. |
4 | Light Green Cloth | Cut an oblong from a light green cloth and stick on the front of your onesie to mimic Gary’s slimy underbelly. |
5 | Stuffing for Toys | Stuff your DIY Gary eye antennas with this for extra support. |
6 | Assorted Felt Paper | Use the different colored paper to craft the details on Gary’s eyes, shell, and body. |
7 | PVC Board | Lastly, cut a PVC board to the semicircle shape of Gary’s shell and paint it a light pink color. Next is to attach garters to it so you can wear it on your back. |
Gary the Snail is SpongeBob’s beloved pet and housemate as he lives with SpongeBob in a pineapple under the sea. This sea snail sounds and acts like the equivalent for a cat but he has other special abilities. It has been revealed that Gary could in fact understand the other characters and has a wide vocabulary and set of skills that he doesn’t usually show. He’s also the first cousin of Patrick, and they both share interesting psychic abilities.
Although Gary’s a pet, SpongeBob treats him very well and like family since they’ve been together for a long time. Gary looks like a regular snail but has a light blue body with a green underbelly, long antenna eyes, and a pretty pink shell.
