About Bamm Bamm

Bamm Bamm, voiced by Don Messick and interpreted by Hlynur Sigurðsson in the live-action is the adopted son of Betty and Barney Rubble. He showed up one night at the Rubble’s doorstep in a basket with a little note and the words Bamm Bamm written on it. They later discovered that was the boy’s name; attributed to him because of the sounds he’d make when slamming his club around. While the origin of animated-series Bamm Bamm isn’t clear, it’s revealed in the 1994 movie The Flintstones that he was raised by mastodons, which would explain his incredible strengh.

Growing up, Bamm Bamm became best friends with Pebbles, the Flintstones’ daughter. Their friendship over the span of many years lead them to get married and have two children, Chip and Roxy.

Bamm Bamm worked as a mechanic for a while before getting married to Pebbles, then they moved to Rockywood, a prehistoric version of Hollywood. Once there he’d pursuit his dream of becoming a screenplay writer.
